Golden Freddy

What it means

A parody Wikipedia article presents Golden Freddy as Frederico Giovanni “Golden Freddy” Alfieri, an alleged mobster, goldsmith, counterfeiter, and government informant who was murdered with his family at a children’s restaurant. The joke comes from treating the Five Nights at Freddy’s character as a real historical Mafia figure and pairing the absurd biography with a mugshot-style image. It is shared as an absurd reaction to fake lore, overly serious fan theories, or fictional characters being given ridiculous backstories.
