The Elites Everywhere

Text on the meme

THE ELITES. THE ELITES. THE ELITES. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THE ELITES.

What it means

A comic shows several stereotypical figures labeled “THE ELITES,” including an online commentator, a fashionable woman, a podcast guest, a government airplane, and a wealthy man relaxing in a luxury cabin. The joke is that “the elites” are imagined as an all-purpose explanation for unrelated people, institutions, and events, making it a reaction meme for conspiratorial or exaggerated blame.
