A Million Different Faces

a million different people

A suited, bearded man poses in front of American flags while his face rapidly transforms through bizarre exaggerated versions, including a clownish hat-and-lollipop look and grotesque expressions. The repeated caption suggests “a million different people,” turning the identity changes into an absurd visual joke, heightened by The Verve’s melancholic song “Bitter Sweet Symphony.” It works as a reaction to someone being inconsistent, impossible to recognize, or having many personalities.
