How Could You Tell We Were Polyamorous?

Text on the meme

"How could you tell we were polyamorous?"

What it means

A bizarre cartoon shows three unsettling-looking people standing shoulder to shoulder beneath the question, “How could you tell we were polyamorous?” The joke is that their visibly strange, exaggerated appearance supposedly gives away their relationship dynamic; the clip plays Hoobastank’s earnest alternative-rock song “The Reason,” creating an overly dramatic contrast with the absurd image and making it work as a reaction meme for unapologetically weird situations.
