Kitten Listening to The Stranger
BILLY JOEL THE STRANGER
A black-and-white photograph shows a kitten sitting on a bed beside a cat-shaped pillow, with a guitar hanging on the wall. The image is presented as the cover of Billy Joel’s album The Stranger, and the incongruously serious album-cover design makes the kitten look like a brooding musician. It is shared as a reaction to melodramatic, lonely or unexpectedly sophisticated feelings.
