The Half-Naked Child Is Important

I can assure you dear viewer, the half naked child is important to the plot

An anime scene shows a partially nude girl beside a large anthropomorphic animal in a futuristic setting, while a suited man poses confidently in front of it. The joke parodies defensive explanations of fanservice by insisting that the half-naked character is essential to the story, making the excuse sound absurd.
