Today Was Better Than Yesterday

Things aren’t going to get better! You should just stop trying!! Today was a little bit better than yesterday.

The video begins with a distressed young man wearing headphones and reacting dramatically to the claim that things will not improve. It then cuts to a grayscale, muscular GigaChad-style figure smiling beneath a purple sunset with the caption “Today was a little bit better than yesterday.” The punchline is the exaggerated switch from hopeless despair to a tiny, absurdly confident improvement, amplified by the upbeat phonk-style track “Zion Williamson/ Air Max Mix” by Stanvibes. It works as a reaction to unexpectedly finding one small positive thing in an otherwise bad situation.
