Virgin Islands vs Chad
the virgin islands CHAD Part of Greater Antilles Location: Central Africa Achieved sovereignty: 1960 Religion: Mainly Roman Catholicism Population: 107 000 Population: 14,9 million Majority Muslim Significant Rastafari presence Capital: N'Djamena Location: Caribbean
A split comparison presents the Virgin Islands as a small Caribbean territory with a modest population and mainly Roman Catholic religion, while Chad is shown as a large sovereign African country with millions of people and a bold national flag. The joke uses the Virgin vs. Chad format to portray Chad as more powerful, independent, and impressive than the Virgin Islands. It is shared as an ironic reaction to compare something perceived as weak or ordinary with something exaggeratedly superior.
