The Seven Grammatical Personalities

Nominative -center of attention -kind of a bully -did theater in high school & still has that hamlet monologue memorized Genitive -entitled/thinks everything belongs to them -loves to be a part of things -clothing snob Dative -takes shit from everyone -loves getting presents -sometimes ~surprising~ -has a thing for to do lists Accusative -lets people make decisions for them -v dependable -always planning trips to places but ignoring the logistics Ablative -good at everything -manipulative -owns multiple calendars -subtweets Vocative -master of the @ -always texting someone -seems scary but actually a pretty basic bitch Locative - - - literally who is she ??

A humorous chart assigns exaggerated personality traits to the grammatical cases: nominative is attention-seeking, genitive is entitled, dative is generous, accusative is dependent, ablative is organized and passive-aggressive, vocative is always texting, and locative is portrayed as completely obscure. The joke comes from treating grammar categories as stereotypical people, with the final “literally who is she ??” mocking the least memorable case.
