My Cats Are in the Room

Oh wait, my cats in the room.. Let me get him out.. Oh it’s okay, let him sleep-!

A comic shows an affectionate couple in one panel, a sleeping cat in a purple armchair in the next, and then a mischievous-looking person grinning beside an anthropomorphic cat aiming a large camera-like device. The joke is that “getting him out” sounds innocent, but the final panels reveal a sinister and absurd interpretation involving the cat. It works as a reaction to a seemingly harmless excuse that turns unexpectedly disturbing.
