Frugal Blinkers Mental Illness
oh my god lol I don't blame anyone for not using their blinker. Meta Discussion You only get so many blinks per bulb; and depending on the model, they're not cheap to replace either. Obviously, don't do this during traffic because you'll piss people off, but I don't use mine when I'm alone on the road. I'm sure I've extended its lifespan by a couple months at least. Does anyone else do this? Stumbled upon r/frugal. I thought it would be cool tips and tricks for saving money, but it's actually just a forum for mental illness
A screenshot shows a Reddit discussion about deliberately not using a car’s turn signal to preserve the blinker bulbs, followed by a comment joking that the frugal-living subreddit is a forum for mental illness. The punchline is the absurdly extreme penny-pinching and the blunt reaction to it.
