What it means

A group of elaborately dressed goths and punks visit Santa in a shopping mall, taking increasingly dramatic Christmas portraits with him. The joke is the contrast between their dark, intimidating appearance and the wholesome holiday tradition, made even funnier by Wham!’s cheerful-sounding Christmas song “Last Christmas” playing over the montage. It works as a reaction to embracing Christmas in an unexpectedly goth way.
