Fulgore Faces Hideo Kojima

1UP FULGORE KOJIMA 2UP 4 5

A Killer Instinct character-select screen shows Fulgore repeatedly turning and posing beside a live-action Hideo Kojima, with the round counter changing from 4 to 5. The joke treats Kojima as a selectable fighting-game character facing Fulgore, while the dramatic arcade theme makes the awkward encounter feel like an absurdly serious match. The audio is Robin Beanland’s “The Instinct” from the original Killer Instinct arcade soundtrack, with energetic electronic fighting-game music that heightens the comedy.
