Laughing at a Red Square

Our standards for comedy are just gonna get lower and lower until we eventually find ourselves laughing at something dumb like a red square

A screenshot-style meme shows an English caption above a sunny photograph of Moscow’s Red Square, with Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin visible. The joke sarcastically claims that comedy standards have fallen so low that people might laugh at the square itself, while the image presents the famous landmark as if it were the punchline.
