Text on the meme

I hate self-shipping it's wrong! me x hater what?

What it means

A four-panel comic shows a person condemning self-shipping, a smug cat-like character saying “me x hater,” and the confused hater realizing they are being paired with the character. The joke is a self-referential shipping reversal, used as a reaction to someone who claims to hate a pairing but becomes part of one.
