Goodbye Fox News Alert

GOODBYE-

A handheld video films a television showing a young man’s image repeatedly cutting between a Fox News-style broadcast and blurry transitions, with the giant caption “GOODBYE-”. The dramatic news-alert presentation paired with Lizz Robinett’s upbeat anime-pop cover of “Renai Circulation” makes the farewell feel absurdly overblown, as if a harmless goodbye were breaking news.
