First Time Spending Money in a Game

first time in 8 years I'm spending money in a game

A video game screenshot shows an extreme close-up of a character’s armored backside, with the caption “first time in 8 years I'm spending money in a game.” The joke is that the player has finally made an in-game purchase, humorously represented as staring at an absurdly expensive or revealing character model. It is used as a reaction to reluctantly spending money on a game, especially for cosmetic content.
