Baby Trebuchet Correction

Text on the meme

We are selling our baby trebuchet. We only used it a couple of times. PM me for a quote. This is not a baby trebuchet. It is a baby catapult. Trebuchet has a counterweight

What it means

A social media post offers a strange antique-looking wooden siege device as a “baby trebuchet,” showing a small catapult-like mechanism. A community note humorously corrects the terminology, pointing out that a trebuchet needs a counterweight, while the pictured device is a catapult. The meme is used when someone confidently misidentifies an object or makes a technically incorrect claim.
