I Hate Being 24 Years Old
I hate 24 years old so immediately and 50 stars but let's make it one nation final rendering guys think?
A woman speaks into a microphone while a U.S. flag behind her changes into an Israeli flag. She says she hates being 24 and jokingly proposes redesigning the flag with 50 stars, one nation, and then reveals the “final rendering” as the Israeli flag, creating an absurd political bait-and-switch. The synthetic-sounding narration and deadpan delivery make it work as a reaction to someone suggesting an obviously questionable redesign or conclusion.
I hate the American flag, so I have taken it upon myself to redesign it. And if you're wondering what makes me qualified for that, well, Betty Ross was only 24 years old when she designed the original American flag, which obviously is outdated and has been updated since. And now I think it's time for another update. So immediately, let's get rid of the red, because we don't need to remind the world of all the blood we have on our hands. There are 13 stripes to represent the 13 original colonies, and 50 stars to represent the 50 states. I would keep those if we had a representative democracy, but we don't. So let's keep the essence of stars and stripes, but let's make it two stripes to represent the Democratic and Republican Party that control our government. And we'll just make it one star because it is one nation after all. But I want to throw in triangles to kind of give the Illuminati shadow government vibe. So here's the final rendering. This I feel like fully encapsules what our government truly represents. I would love to hear some feedback, some constructive criticism. What do you guys think?
