A character from Hollow Knight is shown wearing a colorful clown wig, surrounded by a dense timeline of Nintendo Direct, Indie World, Summer Game Fest, and other showcase dates. The joke is that fans have waited through years of gaming presentations for news about Hollow Knight: Silksong, with each missed announcement making the character look increasingly like a disappointed clown. It is used as a reaction to another event passing without a Silksong release date or announcement.
