Games Are Supposed to Be an Escape

Text on the meme

I saw someone say a big problem with a lot of modern games is they're filling them with annoying people you play games to escape from.

What it means

A close-up of a fantasy game character looking irritated and uncomfortable. The joke is that games meant to help people escape annoying real-life people are increasingly filled with annoying characters themselves, making this useful as a sarcastic reaction to preachy or irritating game NPCs.
