Pixar Receding Hairline Fish

How tf did Pixar manage to put a receding hairline on a fish

Two blue fish from Finding Nemo face each other underwater, with a small fish between them. The joke points out that Pixar gave a fish a human-like receding hairline, making the character look unexpectedly bald and middle-aged; it is used as an amused reaction to oddly realistic or overthought character design.
