2016 Was Eight Years Ago
"yo, 2016 was 4 years ago bro" "yo, 2016 was 8 years ago"
A short reaction video starts with someone reaching into a foil-lined takeout box, then cuts to two men sitting in a car. One man calmly insists that 2016 was only four years ago, before the clip jumps forward to a weathered, tearful-looking bearded man and the caption changes to “8 years ago.” The joke is about the shock of realizing how much time has passed, amplified by the dramatic, psychedelic-rock mood of Tame Impala’s “Let It Happen.”
