Cat Goes Down With Its Ship

Text on the meme

A good captain always goes down with their ship

What it means

A black-and-white cat clings stubbornly to a large wooden cat toy or scratching-post structure as it tips and falls onto a sofa. The caption humorously compares the cat to a ship captain who refuses to abandon their sinking ship, making this a reaction to loyalty, stubbornness, or going down with a failed plan.
