Don't Worry, We Will Get You

Don't worry, we will get you !

At night, a police van arrives under a stone bridge while a strange illuminated bird-like figure stands above it with its arms spread. The caption promises “Don’t worry, we will get you!”, making the scene funny by turning a reassuring rescue line into an ominous threat; the dramatic music, darkness, headlights, and slow reveal intensify the darkly absurd joke. The soundtrack is Jake Parker’s “Almost Martyrs,” with an atmospheric, cinematic mood.
