King of the Hill Epic Montage

KING OF THE HILL

What it means

A fast montage from King of the Hill shows Hank Hill and other characters in ordinary, awkward, and dramatic moments, ending with Hank presented as the “KING OF THE HILL.” Yoko Takahashi’s “The Cruel Angel's Thesis” plays over the clips, giving the mundane scenes an exaggerated anime-opening grandeur that makes the joke work as an ironic reaction to Hank’s supposed epic status.
