THE ODYSSEY WILL RETURN THE ODYSSEY WILL RETURN IN AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

What it means

A cinematic-looking scene shows people in ancient Greek-style robes gathered in a dim, candlelit room. After the solemn sequence, a title card announces that “The Odyssey” will return in “Avengers: Doomsday,” creating an absurd fake movie-franchise crossover joke. It works as a reaction to an unexpectedly dramatic sequel or an absurd continuation of an unrelated story.
