Best Ending Nuclear Apocalypse

Text on the meme

Best ending RU Probable Nuclear Targets in UK & France, 1972 London DAY 013

What it means

An animated geopolitical map shows a submarine launching missiles, Russia and NATO launching nuclear strikes across Europe and North America, glowing explosions over the United States, and Earths apparently going dark. The repeated caption “Best ending” and the upbeat disco track “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” turn a catastrophic nuclear-war scenario into darkly ironic celebration, as if global destruction were a satisfying conclusion.
