Removing a Dependency Update
UPDATE: Removing a dependency Today's update removes the game's dependency on the Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable. It's not very exciting for anyone other than me, who will hopefully get fewer support emails about this.
A software developer announces that an update removes the game's dependency on Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable. The joke is that this minor technical cleanup is exciting only to the developer, who hopes it will reduce support emails. It is used as a dry, self-deprecating reaction to celebrating an extremely boring engineering improvement.
