Let Her Go, Shinji

Let her go, Shinji! Let. Her. Go!

What it means

A three-panel mashup shows Obi-Wan Kenobi standing dramatically on a spacecraft staircase while Shinji appears to be clinging to or restraining someone on the floor. Obi-Wan repeatedly orders Shinji to let her go, parodying the intense melodrama of Star Wars and Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is used as an absurd reaction to someone refusing to release a person, object, or emotional attachment.
