Rise of Ronin vs Dark Souls 2
Rise of Ronin (2024) Dark Souls 2 From (2014)
A split-screen comparison shows a character riding a white horse through a Japanese town in Rise of Ronin (2024), contrasted with a lone character walking through a bleak, foggy forest in Dark Souls 2 (2014). The joke mocks the visual and atmospheric downgrade from a newer samurai game to the older, grim-looking Souls game, using “from” as a reference to FromSoftware.
