Waiting for the Mortar to Drop
I can’t look at drone footage anymore without subconsciously waiting for a mortar to drop I found this video of these beautiful sleeping elephants
A screenshot of a social-media post shows a video of several baby elephants sleeping closely together in a forest. The joke is that drone footage now resembles wartime surveillance, so instead of peacefully watching the elephants, the viewer subconsciously expects a mortar strike. It is used as a darkly humorous reaction to footage that looks like aerial military reconnaissance.
