Things You Might See in Europe

Text on the meme

Things You Might PEACE love is life Northern Ireland Schotland Ireland England Wales GREECE TURKEY Black Sea Mediterranean Sea Croatia Romania Serbia Moldova Bosnia and Herzegovina Bulgaria Montenegro Kosovo North Macedonia Albania Greece BELARUS RUSSIA KYIV UKRAINE MOLDOVA BLACK SEA GEORGIA TURKEY

What it means

A fast, colorful montage begins with the words “Things You Might,” followed by peace-and-love imagery and a rapid tour of maps showing the British Isles, Greece and Turkey, the Balkans, Ukraine, and finally a large red map of Europe. The joke is an absurd geographic escalation: the innocent peace-and-love setup gives way to increasingly broad and geopolitically loaded map imagery, turning the clip into a surreal reaction video. Yung Caza’s “Hate” plays underneath, with a dark, energetic mood that makes the rapid map cuts feel more dramatic and ironic.
