Young Adult Old Me
YOUNG ME ADULT OLD TIME ENERGY MONEY TIME ENERGY MONEY TIME ENERGY MONEY TIME ENERGY MONEY
A four-panel comparison shows a person as young, an exhausted black cat representing “me,” an adult, and an old person. The green-and-empty bars show that youth has time and energy but little money, adulthood has energy and money but little time, and old age has time and money but little energy. The joke is that the speaker has become an inexplicably tired cat with none of the resources associated with any life stage.
