Kafka's Metamorphosis Mushrooms

I grew some oyster mushrooms, using a copy of Kafka's Metamorphosis as a growing medium; I enjoyed eating the mushrooms more than reading the novella.

A block of oyster mushrooms is growing from a yellow-covered copy of Kafka's Metamorphosis. The joke is a literal, unsettling interpretation of the novella's transformation theme, with the mushrooms becoming more enjoyable to eat than the book was to read. It works as a reaction to confusing, unpleasant, or overly literary reading material. EN: A block of oyster mushrooms is growing from a yellow-covered copy of Kafka's Metamorphosis.
