evangelicals: "you should come to our church, we have cool music and a really positive and uplifting message" catholics: The skull of Mary Magdalene in St Maximin Basilica in France.

What it means

A screenshot contrasts evangelicals inviting people to a church with cool music and an uplifting message against Catholics displaying what is labeled as Mary Magdalene’s skull in a golden reliquary. The joke relies on the exaggerated contrast between modern cheerful worship and an unsettling Catholic relic, making it a reaction to overly upbeat evangelism or intense religious traditions.
