Michael Cat Says Goodbye

hello its me michael ITS MOTHER FUCKING TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!! goodbye

A small white cat stands against a black background and gradually speaks in a speech bubble: “hello,” introduces itself as Michael, then suddenly shouts “ITS MOTHER FUCKING TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!!” before saying goodbye and disappearing. The joke is the absurdly intense celebration of an ordinary Tuesday, making the clip useful as an over-the-top reaction to the start of the week. Kero Kero Bonito’s “I’d Rather Sleep,” an upbeat electronic pop song with a playful, dreamy mood, contrasts with the cat’s deadpan delivery and makes the escalation feel even more ridiculous.
