Ancestor Who Fought in 1775

I sent this photo to school textbook publishers and told them this was a painting of my ancestor who fought in the war in 1775 😭💀

A stylized portrait of the Soldier from Team Fortress 2 is presented as a painting of the poster’s ancestor who supposedly fought in the war in 1775. The joke is the absurdly false historical claim and the character’s unmistakably video-game-like appearance, making it a reaction to elaborate lies or trolling.
