House Tour in a Haunted Hallway
house tour!!!!
A dark, narrow hallway is presented as an excited “house tour,” making an ordinary interior look ominous and absurd. The joke is the exaggerated enthusiasm contrasted with the creepy, poorly lit setting, so it works as a reaction to showing something unsettling or disappointing.
