Amour plastique

EN: The clip is a montage of Napoleon Bonaparte in different episodes from the Napoleonic era: among troops, in a palace, amid battles, cavalry, fire, and the flags of European powers. The grand historical drama is set to the melancholic romantic song “Amour plastique” by Videoclub, Adèle Castillon and Mattyeux, turning the martial grandeur into an ironically tragic romanticization of Napoleon—a reaction to an overly dramatic or self-important situation.
