Invited to the New Valve Game

>get invited to the new valve game >ask if it’s tf2 or overwatch >”what?” >pull out diagram describing the differences between tf2 and overwatch >”it’s a good game, sir” >boot up the game >it’s dota

A greentext-style social media post describes someone being invited to a new Valve game and trying to determine whether it is Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch. After carefully explaining the differences, they discover that the game is actually Dota, parodying Valve’s wide range of multiplayer games and the confusion around an unnamed new release. It is used as a reaction to unexpected twists, misidentification, or discovering that a situation is completely different from what was expected.
