Switch 2 Release Excitement

Text on the meme

“The Switch 2 just released! Aren’t you excited?”

What it means

A cartoon bedroom scene shows two people lying motionless under a blanket while an American flag hangs on the wall. The caption asks whether they are excited about the Nintendo Switch 2, but their complete lack of visible enthusiasm creates the deadpan joke, making it useful as a reaction to disappointing or overhyped news. Music plays throughout, adding an ironic, emotionally mismatched soundtrack to their indifference.
