Aerith Trans Similarity Joke

Okay, let me get this straight: Aerith in the FF7 remake... -Is sarcastic -Cracks dad jokes -Constantly thinks about food -Wears a choker Ya'll... I legit think Aerith is trans. This is why people dislike you. The only similarity she has to a trans is how early she dies.

A screenshot of a Twitter exchange compares Aerith from the Final Fantasy VII Remake to stereotypes about being transgender. The reply delivers the punchline by saying the only similarity is that Aerith dies early, referencing her famous death in the game. It is shared as an offensive, darkly comedic reaction to an absurd argument.
