Adulthood Was Supposed to Be Amazing
A few years ago: Adulthood is going to be amazing! I can’t wait to grow up!... 2024:
A playful black kitten happily wrestles with a banana, representing childhood excitement about growing up. The clip then cuts to the same black cat lying lazily on the floor in various poses in 2024, capturing the joke that adulthood is far less exciting than expected. It works as a relatable reaction to adult exhaustion, boredom, or disillusionment.
