Accordion Guitar Plays Evangelion Theme

A cruel angel's thesis Neon Genesis Evangelion

What it means

A man wearing sunglasses and a cap performs the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening theme on an absurd homemade multi-instrument setup, combining an accordion, guitar, mouth harp, and a floor-mounted string mechanism. The joke is the comically elaborate and chaotic arrangement of “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis,” making the familiar anime song sound like an eccentric one-man folk performance. Accordion music and mechanical string noises heighten the surreal reaction-video feel.
