Axe Versus Boulder Escape

AXE VERSUS BOULDER!

What it means

The clip opens with an axe beside a boulder and the caption “AXE VERSUS BOULDER!”, then abruptly shifts into a first-person rush through dark city streets, brick corridors, an elevator, and a bleak institutional hallway before ending in an empty waiting room. The escalating journey feels like an absurd escape or adventure that never reveals the promised axe-versus-boulder showdown; the moody track “melancholia blue” by Meal and the implied clinking, hooflike sounds make the anticlimactic trek feel strangely dramatic and funny.
