PONYO SPIRITED AWAY HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE PRINCESS MONONOKE MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE CASTLE IN THE SKY DARK SOULS III ELDEN RING SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE Demon's Souls DARK SOULS II Bloodborne
Two fans are shown choosing between the worlds of Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli films and Hidetaka Miyazaki’s dark fantasy games. The joke plays on the two creators sharing the surname Miyazaki while representing completely different tastes: gentle animated adventures on the left and brutal, difficult games on the right. It is used as a reaction to show a preference for either wholesome fantasy or grim action RPGs.
