What are we?
A person reaches a hand over the edge of a couch or bed, only to have a dark clawed creature grab it from underneath. The creature then asks, “What are we?”, turning a classic under-the-bed scare into an absurd existential joke. This meme is used as a reaction to confusing or undefined situations.
