Defending Your Right to Say It

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it. (Voltaire) DONT TREAD ON ME TND LIVE HITLER REACTION

Ben Stiller’s suspicious, increasingly disapproving reaction from Zoolander cuts back and forth with a flamboyant, neon-lit “live Hitler reaction” broadcast showing a blond performer holding a glowing plate. The Voltaire quote and “DON’T TREAD ON ME” imagery turn the exaggerated stares into an absurd reaction about defending free speech while clearly judging what was said. Energetic electronic music heightens the chaotic, surreal punchline.
