Phases of Trans: The Shift
PHASES OF TRANS THE SHIFT #1 PHASE #1 “SOMETIMES I WISH I WERE A GIRL” PHASE #2 “I AM A GIRL” PHASE #3
A hand-drawn animated comic shows a feminine-haired character progressing through three phases of gender transition: first wishing they were a girl, then affirming “I AM A GIRL,” and finally reaching a chaotic third phase beneath a desk. The joke is the exaggerated escalation from quiet questioning to an absurd, frantic transformation, making it useful as a trans-related reaction GIF about identity changes going dramatically off the rails.
Phases of trans. Sometimes I wish I were a girl. I am a girl.
